Welcome to Mumu Calculator ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the App.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App. If you do not agree with all or part of this Privacy Policy, you may stop using the relevant features of the App.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the features and services currently provided by Mumu Calculator, as well as related features that may be introduced later, including:

• calculator features
• local history, notes, recycle bin, and archive features
• key sounds and voice readout
• support by email
• Pro purchases provided through Apple in-app purchase
• a complimentary Pro trial for new users
• advertising shown in the free version after the complimentary Pro trial ends

2.1 Information you provide voluntarily

You may choose to provide information in the following situations:

• when you contact us by email, including the contents of your message, your email address, and any other information you choose to provide

2.2 Information generated when you use the App

To support the normal operation of the App, we may process the following information:

• app version
• iOS version
• device model
• Pro purchase or restore status
• complimentary Pro trial start date and trial status
• advertising consent status and privacy choices where required by law
• advertising-related identifiers, diagnostic information, device information, approximate location derived from network information, ad interaction information, and similar information processed by advertising partners

2.3 Information processed locally on your device

The following information is typically stored locally on your device and is not actively uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it:

• calculation expressions
• calculation results
• history records
• note content
• recycle bin content
• archived data
• settings such as decimal places, thousands separator, large number units, key sounds, and voice readout

2.4 Information we do not actively collect for core use

In the current version, the App does not actively collect the following information for its core functionality:

• contacts
• precise location
• photos or photo library content
• microphone recordings
• camera content

Note:

• Voice readout uses system speech synthesis to read text aloud. It is not a voice recording feature and does not require you to upload spoken audio to us.

3. How We Use Information

We use relevant information for the following purposes:

• to provide and maintain the App's core functionality
• to save your local settings and preferences
• to support history, notes, recycle bin, and archive features
• to provide key sounds and voice readout
• to respond to support requests you choose to send by email
• to verify Pro purchases, restore purchases, and manage feature entitlements
• to provide and manage the complimentary Pro trial
• to show app open ads in the free version after the complimentary Pro trial ends
• to request, record, and respect advertising consent or opt-out choices where required
• to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability and user experience
• to comply with applicable laws and regulations

4. How We Share Information

4.1 We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information.

4.2 Sharing with service providers or platforms

We may share information that is necessary to provide the relevant functionality in the following situations:

(1) Apple

When you download the App from the App Store, rate it, share it, or make an in-app purchase, those flows are provided by Apple. We may rely on limited transaction status, entitlement status, or system capability information returned by Apple to confirm feature access.

(2) Email service providers

When you contact us by email, the information you send is transmitted and stored by your email provider and by the email provider we use to receive support emails.

(3) Advertising service provider

The free version of the App may use Google AdMob to show app open ads after the complimentary Pro trial ends. Google and its partners may process information such as device information, advertising identifiers where available, approximate location derived from network information, ad interaction data, diagnostic information, and consent or opt-out status to provide, measure, limit, and improve advertising.

We use Google's User Messaging Platform where required to request or manage advertising consent and privacy choices. In supported regions, you may be able to update advertising privacy choices from the App's Settings page. Permanent Pro users do not see app open ads.

4.3 Third-party SDKs and services used in the App

The App currently integrates or relies on the following third-party platforms, SDKs, or services. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and terms:

4.4 Disclosures to third parties and international transfers

To provide the App, we disclose information that is necessary for the relevant service to Apple, Google, and, where ads are served, Google's advertising technology partners. Apple processes transaction, entitlement, and system-capability information for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, purchase restoration, ratings, and sharing. Google and its advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers where available, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and consent or opt-out status for ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and privacy-choice management.

Because these providers and their service providers operate globally, this processing may involve cross-border transfers to the United States and other countries or regions where Apple, Google, or their partners maintain entities, servers, or operations. We limit our disclosures to what is necessary for these purposes; applicable consent and opt-out choices are handled through the App and Google User Messaging Platform where required. Apple and Google apply the safeguards and international-transfer mechanisms described in their published privacy policies and transfer-framework materials, including contractual, technical, and organisational measures where applicable. 4.5 New data collection

We will not introduce a new category or purpose of personal-information collection based only on a future notice in this Policy. Before releasing any feature that introduces new collection or a material new use, we will update this Policy, the applicable App Store privacy labels, and any required consent or permission flow.

5. Data Storage and Retention

5.1 Local data

Calculation history, settings, notes, recycle bin content, and archives are generally stored locally on your device and remain there until you delete them, uninstall the App, or clear app data.

5.2 Support information

If you voluntarily send us support requests by email, we keep the information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, comply with legal obligations, and improve our services.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may generally have the right to:

• understand how your information is processed
• request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you voluntarily submitted to us by email
• withdraw permission for optional features or stop using the App
• stop future local data generation by uninstalling the App

The App may contain links to, or rely on, third-party services such as:

8. Children's Privacy

If you are a minor, please review this Privacy Policy with a parent or guardian before using the App. If we become aware that personal information has been processed in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps as required.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to product changes, legal requirements, or regulatory developments.

If an update materially affects your rights or changes the purposes, methods, or scope of personal information processing, we will provide notice through the App, a pop-up, an updated page, or another appropriate method where required.
